Poems 2

This is a poem that I really like a lot.

No One Listens

No one’s listening
From the start
No one’s listening
When you impart
No one’s listening
When you’re smart
No one’s listening
Until you fart

  2. Well Keith... I think that your poem is a bit weird... I feel that your poem was great in the first 4 lines but until the sixth one, I think it is a bit inappropriate. Why? If you are smart and knows what to say, why wouldn't people listen to you? And the last line, "Until you fart".

I know that you are trying to tell us your point of view of what happened when no one is listening but the last point really has nothing to do with the poem. Perhaps you are trying to inject humour? But I would suggest you make it obvious a little bit more.

I feel that the poem is great overall and quite hilarious. Thank you =D

  3. Well... I feel that the poem said its point very clearly. Because normally people will get bored no matter how well you said as they had always listened to boring presentations. So, they will just switch off and would not care about what you have said. So, when they heard you farting, as it was unusual, they will notice you because of the fart, not because of your presentation. The poet is trying to tell us that humans only react when they see unusual things
