As the young youth opened the door, he gasped in horror as the tiger leaped forward and attempted to bite him. The youth had opened the door with the tiger inside! When the princess saw that, she cupped her hands over her eyes in despair. Her lover will be killed by the tiger!
By that time, the tiger had already caught the young youth, getting ready to crunch on its neck. The youth closed his eyes as the tiger's teeth got nearer and nearer to his neck...
"Stop!" a voice commanded. The tiger drew back itself and went back to the room. The king was the one who commanded the tiger to stop and return to the room. The youth was surprised as he looked at the king. The king was tearing! It was the first time the youth had saw the king cry before! He turned to look at the princess. However, she was gone! The youth quickly climbed up the stairs and confronted the king. As he looked closer, he realized that the king was holding a piece of paper. there was something written on it. When the king found out that the youth was beside him, he solemnly passed him the letter and beckoned him to read it.
After reading the letter, the youth also started to tear. He slowly walked out of the building, feeling devastated. Wanting to save the youth, the princess apparently wrote a note to the king, telling him that what her wish was was for the youth to live and have a happy life. With that, she got out to the balcony and committed suicide.
"Goodbye, cruel world", the youth said as he got ready to slash the blade of his dagger on his throat...

My reflection on the first composition draft
After reading my first composition draft again, I realized that what I had written was not as good and fluent as I had previously thought. I found out that I had left out many details and some words that I used were rather vague. Therefore I decided to put it on the blog post so that it can be a example of a bad composition. Finally, there were many incredible things that I had written in the draft. My ending was very unsatisfying so in conclusion, I hope to try and write a better composition next time and prevent making these mistakes again.
My Composition Draft For The First Composition This Year.
As I sat out in the front porch that was facing the beach, I smiled as the wind caressed me like a child's breath. I was having a two week vacation in Australia, and so far, everything was wonderful! In fact, my family, with my older brother, Marc, and my younger sister Faith were having a great deal of fun as we had our barbecue last night. Marc, Faith and I were "fencing" with skewers that were used for barbecuing. Even my mother, who was a serious person, laughed and called us childish as she savored a burnt, crisp chicken wing.
While I was looking at the breathtaking view of the beach, I noticed something rather big and menacing coming out to shore and walking towards me. My heart almost skipped a beat as I stood rooted to the chair, not daring to move an inch.
I also tried to look closer to see what it was exactly but as it was already dusk, I could only see the silhouette of the object. Finally, it came close to me and I saw in horror what it was. When I saw it, I screamed hysterically.
It was an octopus! It had eight long slimy tentacles and its body was almost three meters tall! The octopus then slithered into the house. When I saw what had happened, I thought that Mum and Dad were in the house, so I shouted at the top of my voice,"Dad, Mum, there is a giant octopus in the house!" At that point in time, I was so shocked that I was struck incapable of coherent thoughts. I had totally forgotten that Mum and Dad had gone out to play tennis while Marc and Faith had gone to the arcade to play some games. Then, I ran into the house, wanting to 'save' them.
I got into the house, took a nearby fishing rod, and attempted to hook the octopus. Needless to say, the fishing rod snapped into two as it was a wooden flimsy one. The only thing the rod did was to make the octopus notice me. The octopus slithered towards me as it raised its tentacles, getting ready to attack me. As it did so, I quickly went under it and ran as fast as my legs could carry me upstairs to my room. When the octopus saw where I was running, it, too followed suit and went up the stairs.
I rushed into my room and looked around for a route of escape. I was at a dead end, and there was a window beside me. I was trapped. My only hope of escape was to jump off the window, reach the ground floor, and escape. However, I was afraid of heights. I did not want to jump off from the second floor to the first one. But I knew what I had to do. I got ready to jump, hold my breath, and jumped out of the second story.
When I reached the ground, I breathed in a gulp of fresh air. I was alive! I immediately ran to my parents and told then what had happened. Unfortunately, they did not believe me. Therefore, I decided to bring them back to see the damage done by the octopus. However, when I went back, my jaws dropped open. Everything was in its original position! Even the fishing rod was still intact, and nothing broke.
Now, even if I do not know if the incident was true or not but at least, it sure was an eventful day!
