Diary Entry for Patrick Maloney

Dear diary,
What should I do? What should I tell my wife? Should I leave Mary Maloney and go off with Wendy? Please help me, diary! Ah! I know what I have to do! I will just ditch Mary and go off with Wendy! I will just tell her that it is better for both of us this way and we were not meant to be with each other. Anyway, she will survive, I will still give her money for her daily necessities such as food or clothes so she will never stay hungry nor tired. In fact, she will have an even better life! It is also not as if I am that irresponsible as as I had told you, she will be well taken care of. Perhaps I might even employ a domestic helper for her, in case she feels lonely.

I know what I have to do. I will tell her everything tommorow and hope everything will work out.

Why I decided to write my ending for "The Lady Or The Tiger"

I wrote that the tiger came out of the door instead of the lady as I wanted the story to have a sad ending, it can lead to a sad ending by making the princess sacrifice her life for the tiger not to kill the youth. I also made it quite touching as the princess loved the youth so much that she was even willing to sacrifice herself just for the youth. The king also regretted(sort of) for being so reckless and barbaric. Finally, in the final last paragraph of the youth, he was so sad that the princess had sacrificed herself that he got ready to kill himself.
